Lady Bowen Trust distributes $100,000 to assist Queenslanders experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness
Her Excellency, Ms Penelope Wensley AO, Governor of Queensland, in her capacity as Patron of the Lady Bowen Trust on 9 June 2010 announced the disbursement of $100,000 to seven organisations to assist Queenslanders experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.

Presentation of Lady Bowen Trust grant of $20,000 to Mission Australia by the Governor of Queensland, Her Excellency, Ms Penelope Wensley AO.
Grant round 2009
The Lady Bowen trust is offering up to 6 grants up to a maximum of $15,000 for each organisation to provide practical support for people who are homeless or who have a history of homelessness, to transition into stable accommodation and improve their circumstances and personal well-being.

The Lady Bowen Trust is an independent charity dedicated to assisting Queenslanders who are homeless and have complex individual needs to achieve safe and secure shelter and build a better future.
